We are truly thankful and excited that you have chosen this year’s Startown Stables Fun Show event being held at LattaEquestrianCenter to benefit Be The Match Foundation. There are many patients in need and the Be The Match Registrysm, which is the new name for the registry operated by the National Marrow Donor Program® (NMDP), desires to meet that need. Funds raised at this year’s event will be a great help to our mission of saving lives.
Thousands of patients with leukemia and other life threatening diseases need a marrow or cord blood transplant from someone that is not related to them. They are dependent on the Be The Match Registry to find that match. Medical advances are also making transplants available to more patients than ever before. To meet this growing need, we need everyone to help in any way they can by joining the Be The Match Registry, donating cord blood, making a financial contribution or volunteering. This is why it is especially exciting that in addition to raising much needed funds, people will have the opportunity to join the Be The Match Registry at the event.
It is our hope and prayer that this is the beginning of a long standing, life-saving partnership.
